What is the difference between indoor heating cable and outdoor snow melting cable?

They differ greatly in power rating, weather resistance and application scenarios and cannot be mixed. Indoor heating cables are designed for low-temperature constant heating with power of 10–15W/ft, suitable for indoor floors. Outdoor snow melting cables adopt upgraded weatherproof jackets with higher power (15–30W/ft), freeze-thaw resistance and heavy-load resistance, specially used for driveway, roof, ramp and municipal snow & ice removal.
